Purpose of the role
Support administrative needs of internal stakeholders on BBCS Americas licensing team. This team consists of team members representing a wide range of expertise, from sales & retail to marketing & product development. The team’s broader goal is to support expansion and success of licensed consumer product ranges across US, Canada, & Latin America, working in partnership with a host of licensee and retail partners. This role will report to the Manager, Operations, with a goal of further streamlining and maintaining the team’s documents and administrative processes. The Team Assistant will be a critical member of supporting the team in its efforts to expand product ranges for BBCS Americas’ licensed IP, with a particular focus on hit preschool property Bluey.
Manage the following administrative requests from Americas licensing team:
- Assist with design, layout, and information collation for decks, one-sheets, and other sales materials.
- Compile and update sales documents on ongoing basis, including line lists, launch calendars, etc.
- Provide email blasts to licensees with relevant brand information on broadcasts, press activity, events, etc.
- Build out a regular retail newsletter with sales & retail highlights and next step actions for partners
- Manage contractual samples incoming from partners & keep samples closet organized; mail out samples as needed to team members and third parties.
- Compile relevant research on trends in retail landscape, licensing industry, kids’ content landscape, etc & share regularly with team.
- Collate Amazon ASINs to be added to Bluey US & Canada Amazon brand pages & play active role in maintaining up-to-date storefront.
- Manage scheduling for recurring team and/or partner meetings.
- Take notes during key licensee meetings and distribute post-meeting recaps and next steps.
- Process and manage billing invoices with trade partners (Toy Book, etc) and BBCS finance team.
- Complete vendor set-up process for new licensees to become suppliers for BBC Shop ecommerce team.
- Work with marketing team to source approved promotional goods for internal/partner-led events & activations.
Maintain the following documents on behalf of the team, and ensure they are kept up to date:
- One-sheets, decks, & sales materials
- Licensee list
- Line list including launch dates, retailers, and product images
- Licensee & buyer contacts lists
- Amazon brand store master list of ASINs
- Product URL master list for digital team
- Samples tracker
- Additional materials as needed

- Regular face-to-face, video, phone, & email contact with line manager, senior management, and internal teams in order to provide, receive, & exchange information & instructions.

Knowledge & Skills

- An understanding of and interest in the entertainment & sales/retail landscape; keen interest in exploring trends within that space
- Prior experience working in licensing, sales, or entertainment preferred
- Familiarity with BBC content or British television in general preferred
