Job Introduction

BBC Studios is looking to hire a full-time Creative Promo Producer to produce and edit promotional and marketing assets for use on our branded channels, streaming, and social platforms across the APAC region.


This is an exciting and dynamic role suitable for a promo producer with experience working in broadcast media.  Reporting to the Lead Creative, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of promotional assets using Premiere Pro.

As part of the BBC Studios, APAC creative team, you will work collaboratively with your creative colleagues on concept development and the execution and delivery of assets for all our BBC branded services.


The BBC Studios creative team is key to ensuring we deliver world-class creative solutions to all our stakeholders within BBC Studios across branded channels, brand partnerships, content sales, on-air and off-air marketing including social and digital.

Role Responsibility

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • To create distinctive, innovative, and effective promotional assets for multiple platforms.
  • Develop and present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
  • Work to brief and ensure material is targeted and meets objectives.
  • To work effectively with other departments including marketing and programming, ensuring you maintain excellent relationships throughout.
  • Share creative expertise and creative solutions for the benefit of the audience.
  • Be fully accountable for the quality and delivery of your work
  • Act as a brand guardian for the BBC Studios portfolio

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 3+ years of creative and media industry experience producing video-based content
  • You are a self-starter able to juggle multiple projects and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Practical production experience
  • Well-developed digital skills
  • Idea generation/conceptual thinking
  • Copywriting and art direction
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Technical aptitude and an ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to talk through your creative decisions.
